When was the last time you sat down with a good book? With the discovery of what’s now known as Booktok, people are finally falling in love with reading again, rewriting how we see literature in this day and age.
As a teenager, growing up in the 90’s and early 2000’s I would devour books. Then life happened and so did kids and I just didn’t have the time to sit down and read. Now that my kids are getting older and able to be more self-sufficient, I am actually able to find my way back into books. Bringing so much-needed relaxation into the chaos of four children. I also hope to instill that love of reading into my children. Because reading gives you knowledge, and knowledge gives you power!
The Great Literature of our Time.
When you think of literature, what comes to mind? Things like Greek Mythology, where you have Odysseus of Ithaca, Zeus, Hades, and Persephone. Following into a land where you can get away from everyday life. A small getaway from the crazy world that we currently live in. Sometimes that is where you least expect to find peace in the words written on a page.
That is why when I discovered Immortal Perfumes, I couldn’t help but feel excited about what they have to offer. My favorite scent is by far Hades. With hints of Belladonna ( safe to wear as a fragrance oil, so don’t worry! ), Cypress, and Narcissus, the scent is light and airy. I have gotten so many compliments when I wear it. With hit novel scents like Jane Eyre, and Gatsby there is a scent for everyone.
After not only falling in love with many of the signature scents, I love the company’s values regarding loving humanity.
