The new year is here, and we are coming in with a bang. My goal for 2023 is to live life to its fullest and enjoy every possible moment. As a dog mom, I love walking at the park. I find myself taking my dog outside every few hours as it is. With that, I don’t want to carry a huge purse or crossbody for my essentials. When I saw the SPI Crossbody Pro from SPIBelt, I knew I could use it!

I am all about caring for my hair. It starts at the scalp! I always thought it was my shampoo and conditioner that wasn’t working with my hair. It turns out, using oils for the hair really helps the scalp!
I use a few natural oils on my scalp and hair. I just learned about Sesame Oil and now I add it to my ritual! Sesame oil is lightweight on my hair! I apply on my scalp and pay special attention to the ends!
I prefer to apply my hair oils a few hours before showering for the evening, but this works with my schedule. Some apply their oils before bedtime and shower in the morning. Since I shower at night, I apply my oils mid-day!

Anyone that knows me knows that Supernatural is my favorite TV show of all time. I am only slightly obsessed. Heck about 90% of my animals are all named after the show! It’s happened, somehow I blinked and now my beautiful 6lb 14oz baby girl has hit the tween status with full force. This year on her birthday she will be 11 and I just am not ready for her to be that grown. She’s already the same height as me and by the time she’s done, she is sure to pass me in height. … [read more]Growing up I always thought hair loss was something that just happened to men. Never in a million years would I have ever thought that it would be something I would be battling daily. So I never expected that so many outside factors could cause hair loss and damage.
I have always colored my hair, which now knowing better is one of the major reasons my hair has become so very damaged. By not giving it enough time in between coloring and harsh bleaching I let it get to the point that it is now. It’s so fragile and weak. It breaks at the slightest tug. I always have joked that if coloring my hair is the worst thing I do then I am in pretty good shape but now I’m paying for the years of abuse with some pretty heavy hair loss.
