Summer is here and we have been taking the last few weeks to relax! It has also been a bit chaotic. With everything going on, I do my best to take time for self-care. Get ready to pamper our skin and hair!

We closed on our condo! It was a very long wait and it’s finally feeling real! I am nervous, excited, and stressed about having to move all on my own! I have never had to move like this on my own before. My goal is to move all the little things on my own and hire movers to move the furniture and any heavy items.

Hopefully this is our last move. I thought our move to our current condo would be our last move, but I want more space. I am so excited to have a bigger condo for us! 

Skincare 

Let’s talk about skincare. Sachi Skin was kind enough to send me their products that focus on hyperpigmentation and aging, two of my main concerns! 

It’s not easy getting older. As our skin changes, we want to repair and prevent further dark spots, aging, sun damage, and more. Thankfully, beauty companies are listening to what consumers want. We all have our favorite brands, however, I try to keep an open mind as to trying different products based on what my skin needs. 

The TRIPHALA PIGMENTATION CORRECTOR can be used morning and evening, however, since I use so much product in the evening, I use this one in the morning! I apply the corrector on my face and neck until fully absorbed. It feels lightweight and gentle on my skin. I like that it absorbs quickly into my skin.

The PRO RESILIENCE SERUM can be used morning and evening. I personally use this in the morning. I especially focus areas around my eyes, forehead, and laugh lines. Of course, I apply all over my skin and neck until fully absorbed.  

 Both the corrector and serum work perfectly under my makeup. Both are lightweight and suitable for sensitive skin. 

I love treating my skin to the URSOLIC ACID & RETINAL OVERNIGHT REFORM. I apply all over my face and neck. Sometimes the container dispenses too much product, so I just use it as needed for each application and let it sit until the next use. 

I especially love using the cream since it is lightweight and focuses on boosting collagen while repairing acne scarring! 

The COMPLEXION CLARIFYING ACCELERATOR helps keep my skin clear of breakouts, soothes and nourishes, and targets fine lines. Since I started using this product, my skin has less breakouts! 

This product feels lightweight and doesn’t irritate my skin. 

Makeup

When it comes to makeup, I prefer natural, cruelty free, and lightweight products. The last thing I want is to look like I caked on my makeup! 

The Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation is just that, lightweight on my skin! It blends naturally and easily on my face. 

To apply, I use my favorite foundation brush, the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. You can find the brand at Ulta and Amazon. I dispense a small dab of the Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation on my brush.

Then I gently dot the foundation all over my face and blend in a light circular motion. The Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation feels nice on my skin and offers a light coverage. I can easily add more layers for more coverage. 

Hair

The last few weeks have been hectic and I haven’t been able to use my hair oils! I used to apply hair oils every afternoon, but since summer started as well as planning our move, I haven’t had time! 

In the meantime, I am still trying to keep my scalp and hair healthy! Since I only have a few minutes each day, I’ve been using other products!

I didn’t know my scalp needed a reset until I tried Reset Rinse from inala.

The Reset Rinse is a weekly treatment for your hair. The first week, I loved the results so much, I used it a few days later. However, I can easily get away with using this product every two weeks! 

My hair feels light and bouncy! I love how shiny my hair looks too! 

I really don’t style my hair. I am the type to brush it out and let it be. However, there are times when I need to refresh my hair throughout the day! That’s where the Triple Threat Tonic comes in. 

The Triple Threat Tonic is used to prime, style, and refresh hair. The lightweight formula is a leave-in product! It helps add shine, hydrate, and reduces frizz! 

Since I haven’t been able to use my hair oils, I can tell how spoiled my scalp was! My scalp was feeling dry and a little itchy. Creamy Hair Cleanser from Miribel Naturals to the rescue!

The Creamy Hair Cleanser is applied to wet hair. I like to apply it before showering. I wet my hair just a bit and apply the cleanser on my scalp and throughout my hair. I let it sit for about 5 minutes! 

The cleanser really does make my hair feel super soft without drying out my scalp!

Body

I absolutely adore Junoco! My son and I currently use several of their products. I love the facial oils for his skin because they are gentle and do not irritate his skin. When I was offered the chance to try their new body serum, I couldn’t pass it up! 

While the Full Body Nectar Serum can be used throughout the day or whenever your skin needs a refresh and replenish, I prefer to use it in the evening after showering. The serum absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel heavy on my skin. It also has a light and refreshing scent, making it a dream to apply all over my body!
