I first tried mineral makeup the same year my son was born. Since then, I am hooked! I prefer to use mineral makeup over anything else. Mineral makeup feels lightweight and looks natural on my skin! It’s time to uncover beautiful skin with natural makeup!
I was lucky enough to try a few products from Inika Organic. I was sent foundation and eye shadows to try. I used the foundation finder tool and found my shade. I love trying different eye shadows to find a new look!
Mineral foundation
When it comes to foundation, I prefer to use mineral foundation. Not only that, I always look at the ingredients and whether the brand is cruelty free or not. I also choose vegan brands if possible!
I chose the Loose Mineral Foundation SPF25 to try! The foundation is very lightweight on my skin. The formula offers a light coverage. I find that I need a few applications before I am happy with the coverage.
The Inika Organic Loose Mineral Foundation SPF25 looks natural on my skin. There is nothing more embarrassing when you can see where your makeup ends and your natural skin begins! With mineral makeup, it’s so blendable and natural looking! Mineral makeup doesn’t look caked on either!
Mineral Eye Shadow
I love using mineral eye shadow because I can apply wet or dry! If I want a subtle look, I apply as usual. However, if I want a bold look, I add a little water!
I love purple and grey/silver, so I was so excited that I was sent a purple shade of eye shadow from Inika Organic. They sent me their Loose Mineral Eye Shadow in Autumn Plum and Peach Fetish.
I am so thankful I was sent two colors that work together. The colors are a bit light on my skin, so I do build a few layers for the look I want.
Another option I use is applying my eye shadow with a drop of water for a bolder look!
Overall, I love the colors! The colors blend so easily and last all day! As you can see, my look is natural and doesn’t look cakey! I love that my makeup lasts until I’m ready to remove it!

I’ve used Bare Minerals, but I’ve never heard of Inika Organic. I’ll have to check them out. The colors look lovely on you.

Never tied it, but sounds interesting. As we age, I believe it is really important to use quality make-up – those lines and wrinkles can be a challenge to most.

Nice to mix and match and blend to whatever shade works
I’ll be checking this out, I hardly wear makeup because I can’t stand the caked on feel. I do wear bare mineral on occasion when I have to wear makeup.
