Get Lost in a Sizzling Novel

Sometimes you just need an escape from reality. Diving into a good book is a great way to take your mind off a long day and drift off into a fantasy world.

‘Ruthless Women’ by Melanie Blake had me hooked! I was immediately brought into the wild world of soap opera television. I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but I could not put the book down. It gave me something to look forward to every day after work. ‘Ruthless Women‘ is filled with drama, scandal and betrayal. It focuses on brilliant yet determined women trying to get their former number one show ‘Falcon Bay‘ back to it’s rightful spot.

The affairs and the sex scenes were scandalous. Pro Tip: Keep an ice cold glass of water near by in case you need to cool down. The three main characters Farrah, Catherine and Amanda are incredibly driven women in a male dominated world. It makes them admirable no matter how wicked they can be. ‘Ruthless Women‘ is definitely a page turner and would make a great summer read.

A Hot Shower and Call it a Night

All right. I know how it sounds. But I am serious!! Sometimes your body simply needs a good nights rest. If your line of work is either physically and/or mentally demanding, a hot shower can help release built up tension. Follow that by a good nights sleep, and trust me, your body will thank you the next day.

A nourishing and hydrating shampoo and conditioner is a must. I often have outbreaks of plaque psoriasis which can be embarrassing. So I am always on the look our for hair products that cater to dry scalp.

D’Lonzo has a great line of hair and skin care products.

The D’Lonzo’s Double Mint Shampoo and Conditioner felt amazing on my scalp. It was so refreshing and left my scalp tingling and hydrated. My hair felt incredibly soft, smooth and looked shiny. The scent was soft and not overwhelming, perfect if you have any scent sensitivity.

A little goes a long way with D’Lonzo’s Double Mint Shampoo and Conditioner. It worked up into a nice lather and did not leave any residue behind on my hair .

The Oatmeal Pie Soap may be one of my favorites from D’Lonzo. I love the scent it leaves behind on my skin, its so yummy smelling! It worked up to a nice lather and cleansed my skin beautifully. It left my skin feeling touchably soft and smooth. Since it’s in bar form, it will last for some time. I do hope they make this facial bar into a liquid facial cleanser for easier travel.

Once your done with your hot shower, a light and easy to apply lotion is a must! The Essential Goodness Body Lotion is a high quality lotion. It’s really light weight and leaves your skin feeling silky soft and not greasy at all.

Finally, spray your face before bed with the Rose Oil Facial Mist. It’s a refreshing mist that really wakes the skin up yet calms it. The size of the bottle makes it great for travel or simply keep in your purse. My only gripe is that I wish the mist was finer. It does dry down beautifully and so my skin did feel silky soft.

I would be ready for bed, wouldn’t you?
