Summer Treats For Your Skin

Summer Treats For Your Skin

Since becoming a mother and wife, I still try to look and feel my best. A low-carb lifestyle has done wonders for my body; keeping off inches and helping me feel more energetic. I try to work out 4-5 times a week while working, writing, and caring for our family.

I’m also proud to say this the first summer that I haven’t hid my body under layers of hot clothing. With weight training and kick-boxing, I’m finally proud to show off my arms and legs. However, I still have my imperfections that make me feel a little self-conscious. Bringing beautiful children into the world usually leaves its mark, and I have the stubborn stretch marks to prove it. I also feel like the skin on the backs of my arms and thighs could be a little firmer. Having the right products in your arsenal can make all the difference in the way you look and feel.

I was pretty convinced that there would be nothing to help diminish the appearance of my stretch marks. After all, they were several years old and most products are made for currently pregnant women or women with new stretch marks. Belli Stretchmark Minimizing Cream is made to work on marks of any age, old and new.

I love the fragrance of this cream; very fresh and calming!

I love to apply this before bedtime, right after I get out of the shower. The scent of this cream is soothing and clean to me. Spread evenly over effected areas twice daily until you’ve achieved the results you desire. I started noticing a difference right around 3 weeks; my stretch marks appeared slightly less noticeable.

Belli Stretchmark Minimizing Cream is free of parabens, phthalates, artificial dyes, artificial fragrances, and allergy tested.  Available at Amazon.

I’m officially obsessed with  Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream ! I’m not sure what I like more; the beachy fragrance that reminds of a luxurious vacay or the creamy, silky texture. It always leaves me feeling  smooth and smelling delicious throughout the day. Guarana is the secret weapon contained in this product; it is made to help tone and tighten the body.

Look at that creamy, rich texture! It’s such a decadent treat for my skin.

In the summer, I like to run outside and play with my son. I’m a barefoot kind of girl and my feet usually take a beating as we play baseball, tag, and explore nature together. In order to keep them smooth and pretty, I need a product that will work very well. So far, I’ve had great success using Sol De Janeiro Samba 2-Step Foot Fetish Cream.

This cream feels incredibly luxurious when smoothed on my feet and the tropical scent is really delightful. A pampering blend of Cupuacu Butter, Acai, and Coconut oil will provide you with plenty of hydration. A foot board is also included to help exfoliate dead skin and leave feet feeling very soft. I always like to use this when giving myself a pedicure at home.
