A Feeding Pillow Like No Other

A Feeding Pillow Like No Other

Beauty Brite Disclosure

Being a new parent is hard, being a parent to a new baby when you have three others is really hard and exhausting. With that being said, adding a baby that has special needs brings a whole new challenge. I’m constantly looking for things to help improve our daily life and make things easier.

Milk Boss

My youngest daughter was born in Nov. and we found out that she has hip dysplasia requiring her to wear a harness 23/7 for the first couple months of her life, so breastfeeding has been difficult because we are struggling to find an easy and comfortable position for her to be in. Now I’ve tried many different nursing pillows to see if they would make things easier and it has been to no avail. When I received the Milk Boss Feeding Support Pillow, I was excited to see how it compared to the others I have tried. Its small design is great because it easy to transport and position. The Milk Boss Feeding Support Pillow has a patented arm support that helps keep your arm from getting tired and supports baby easier making feeding time easier for everyone.

Reflux reducing burping position

( I always like to share real photos with you guys so please excuse the exhausted look on my face )

Another great aspect of the Milk Boss Feeding Support Pillow is that it can be used to help with burping your baby. Because she is in a harness, my little girl has such a hard time burping and passing gas. Well being able to lay across the pillow on her stomach makes it easier for gas to move around since she can’t stretch her legs and move to get it to pass easier. This helps reduce reflux and helps her to feel better.

Tummy Time With Milk Boss

Being that the harness my daughter wears is so oddly shaped we have a hard time doing tummy time, but with the Milk Boss Feeding Support Pillow, I’ve found this is the perfect way for her to achieve this. It’s small enough that I can keep it in my lap while she’s on her tummy so that I can keep a better eye on her and it helps her work on her neck and head control which has been so hard since her brace was put on.

The feel of the Milk Boss Feeding Support Pillow is super soft and the color is gender neutral going with any room décor. The fabric has a stay cool lining that keeps you from getting overheated. So, all in all, I’d definitely recommend this pillow for anyone nursing or bottle feeding parents alike. Works great for many different occasions and is very versatile. A must-have for every parent.

  1. What a great resource for you to have in hand as you adjust to the harness. I love that there are little things that make parenting easier. I hope she heals quickly and that you get a good night’s sleep often

  2. This is an amazing feeding pillow! Often times I found myself becoming uncomfortable when my son was a baby and it was feeding time. If only I had had something like this!

  3. Erica says

Your little girl is so cute. This seems like a great pillow I love that it helps make her so comfortable and makes feeding time easier for her.

  4. Darcy Koch says

I never breastfed so I can’t relate. However, the pillow does look quite comfortable for nursing.

  5. Wow this looks cool! How long do you think you will be able to use it? My girl is turning 6 months tomorrow, so I’m not sure how much use I’d get out of it, but my sister’s baby is only 2 weeks so I could see this as a gift!

  6. Oh bless her sorry to hear about her health issues but I am happy to hear that the feeding pillow helps support her hip dysplasia in a way that other feeding pillows don’t. That is truly remarkable and perfect for aiding her reflux too x

  7. Wow this is a great solution for keeping both the Mom and baby comfortable. It will make a baby shower nice gift

I wouldn’t like that my arm is trapped

  9. I just saw this in an email! My son had horrible reflux while we we’re breastfeeding in the beginning. I wish I would of had this pillow. He’s 11 months now and I doubt it would help too much.

  10. That is a pavlick Harness correct? My daughter, who is almost 5 now, was in one for her hip dysplasia right after she was born. It really did suck for nursing and tummy time, and I wish I would have had one of these pillows then. She was in hers about 6 months, then moved to a different brace for a few months.. we have had no issues since then though 🙂

  13. This is so awesome!! So glad that you found a comfortable position for your little angel.

  14. So I am assuming this is better than the bobby? Or would you need both

    • Kansas says

The boppy was way to soft for us to use, the Milk boss worked a lot better and gave us the support we needed 🙂
