Knock out Germs this Flu Season with Natural and Botanical Ingredients

Kill Cold and Flu Germs Without Bringing Harmful Chemicals into your Home

Beauty Brite Disclosure

It’s finally October! That means fall weather, Halloween, treats, and GERMS. Cold and Flu season is quickly upon us. I always know when it’s that time because I get the dreaded email from my doctor reminding me to get my flu shot.

My daughter inherited her mother’s terrible immune system. So, more often than not, she and I spend most of our holiday season sick. Without fail, she brings home germs from school and shares them with me.

I try to keep the ENTIRE house sanitized from September to March, but I hate using bleach based products. The smell is terrible and I am scared that my daughter or my fur babies will come into contact with chemicals and suffer. However, I struggled to find a natural cleaning product that was strong enough to kill germs that lingered on my counter-tops.

100% Natural and Bio-based Ingredients

Elyptol has quickly become my favorite brand because they are natural but also incredibly effective. Made from natural and botanical ingredients, Elyptol offers a range of sanitizing products to protect you from an array of germs.

Hard Surface Sanitizing Wipes: My absolute favorite product from this brand! Kills up to 99.9999% of bacteria, fungi and other common germs that can cause disease. Each cloth is 100% biodegradable bamboo. The Eucalyptus Oil provides a fresh scent while also helping you breath easier.

Hand Sanitizer Gel and Spray: I have seriously put one of these in every room and every bag that my daughter and I carry. These babies never dry or crack the skin but will kill 99.9999% of germs. Try their kits and clip a gel or spray to your frequent flyer bag.

Tips for When you Find Yourself Sick

  • Take it easy and get some rest! Have a nap, you deserve it
  • Gargle with saltwater
  • Drink plenty of fluids
  • Drink hot beverages like herbal teas
  • Have a spoonful of natural honey; either by itself or in your tea. Honey is anti-microbial and will help kill off germs
  • Eat some chicken soup. Chicken soup has actually been proven to reduce inflammation and pain. It can also provide you with nutrients that you may be lacking due to the unwillingness to eat
