Beauty Brand Spotlight: Cleure

I love trying out new beauty products released in the beauty community. But nothing beats exploring a new beauty brand and testing out a few products. I had the opportunity to try a few products from the brand, Cleure

About the Brand

This brand stands out because its products are for people with sensitive skin. The skincare products are on the verified lists for being free of common allergens: American Contact Dermatitis Society, Skin Safe (developed in collaboration with Mayo Clinic), Duke Dermatology, and recommended by dermatologists across the USA. This review is just makeup products, but I’m definitely interested in trying their skincare products.

Cleure Review – Beauty Products

When it came to picking out products, I wanted to choose items that would allow me to do a quick everyday look. I do work from home and only go into the office once a month, but I want something quick when I’m running late and have to be out the door. Products I received:

Cleure Naturally Basic Eyeshadow Trio

If you’re looking for an excellent everyday eyeshadow trio, the Naturally Basic eyeshadow trio ($30) is it. You have the three shades you need for a day look that’s neutral, but there’s a darker shade that you can make it a smoky look if you’re going out at night. I use the darker shade as a shadow liner. It’s absolutely perfect for me and what I need with my everyday makeup.

The shadows are nicely pigmented, blend well, and last for several hours when used with a primer. Go from a neutral to a smoky look in minutes! Bonus points for the trio for including a mirror.

Cleure mascara for sensitive eyes

The black mascara for sensitive eyes ($25) coasts your lashes nicely, doesn’t clump, and lasts throughout the day. I’m not one for using a lash curler, so I do have to re-apply a few hours later. That’s not a significant issue for me. I have sensitive eyes, and I find that I can wear this without any problems.

Dual-Ended Shadow/Liner Brush from Cleure

The dual-ended shadow/liner brush ($20) is great to bring with you. This brush is perfect for applying shadow, and I use the other to apply the shadow as my liner. I do with the angled brush was a little denser since I use it as a liner brusher, but again, not the end of the world. I think for angled brushes that are used strictly for eyeliner, it’s a matter of preference.

Cleure mineral blush matte in Flirt

For my cheeks, I chose a gorgeous mineral blush matte ($25) in the shade flirt. It’s a dirty rose shade, which is great for work or school. I throw it on when I go out to run errands. It truly is the perfect no-fuss blush. I love how the color looks on me – a natural flush.

Lastly, I chose a mineral shea butter lipstick ($19) in the shade Rich Parfait. Some could consider this a “my lips but better” color. It’s beautiful and flattering on just about every skin type. What’s even better is that it’s one of those shades that you can apply without having to worry about using a mirror. The lipstick is so soft and smooth that it almost seems like I’m applying a lip butter or lip balm. Like most lipsticks, it lasts a couple of hours, but the color is just so pretty. It’s probably one of my favorite lipstick shades.

Overall Thoughts

Cleure is probably one of my new favorite brands and I’m so excited that I had the chance to test out some of their products. If you want to try out and support new brands, they’re worth it! I’ve already started my wishlist of products I want to try next.
