The Good Dinosaur on DVD

Beauty Brite Disclosure

I knew when I saw the commercials for The Good Dinosaur I knew that it would be a cute movie. The relationship between Arlo and Spot is so adorable. An unlikely and unique friendship. Arlo takes on a human persona while Spot is more of the pet!

The Good Dinosaur asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely, and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? In this epic journey into the world of dinosaurs, an apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.

Arlo and Family

Arlo is the youngest and smallest in his family. Libby is his older sister and Buck is his older brother. Both are quick to adapt and creative with their work on the family farm. When Arlo was born, you could see right away that he was scared and unsure of himself. Plus, he was clumsy! Arlo is immediately lovable because he is adorable but embraces his bumbling ways.

As farmers, momma and poppa teach their children chores and responsibilities. They even make their mark on the family silo signifying that they each contributed in a big way. Arlo is the last of his family to make his mark. Just when he gives up, his poppa enlists him to help protect their food supply. He is in charge of catching the critter eating their food supply!
