Homemade Lemon Vinegar Cleaner

I love using natural cleaner around the home. I’ve made natural homemade cleaners using baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and vinegar. I am always looking for ways to clean around the home that is effective and works! I recently made my own batch of homemade lemon vinegar cleaner!

I was given 4 homegrown lemons and I had no idea how to use them, food wise. I could have easily used them in my water. But they just sat on my counter for weeks. Finally, I didn’t want to throw them away, so I looked for ways to clean around the home with lemons!

I personally had 4 lemons. It really doesn’t matter how many lemons you use. If you have an extra lemon, use it! I just happen to have 4 lemons that I didn’t want to throw away! Since I love eco-friendly and natural cleaning products, I decided to make my own batch!

Not only can you use the homemade lemon vinegar cleaner to clean your windows, but you can clean just about any hard surface in your home! Please note: this cleaner is not safe for all surfaces, marble and granite countertops as it can scratch the surface!

I was so excited to try the cleaner, that I quickly cleaned my bathroom mirrors! They were blurry and foggy looking. The homemade lemon vinegar cleaner may be cheaper than using my hydrogen peroxide to clean my mirrors! However, if you have hydrogen peroxide on hand, this is a very effective and affordable option to clean your mirrors with!

I don’t have a mop, so I tend to grab a bucket and microfiber cloth and quickly clean my floors! All in all, I ended up waiting a little over two weeks to make this batch of cleaner! I was just busy with juggling college, my personal life, being a mom, and more! You can easily wait 2 to 3 weeks if you’d like!

You can also substitute oranges or orange peels for the lemons! I plan on trying oranges and orange peels for my next batch We each oranges and also, my guy has a oranges that fall into his backyard from his neighbor’s tree!
