Pamper Your Hair With Spring Scents - WEN Treatment Oil Spring Orange Blossom

Beauty Brite Disclosure

WEN® Hair Care by Chaz Dean always has such great sounding products. I’ve been wanting to try them out for a while now. Just the names of the scents always seem to sound exotic to me!

What is WEN™?

WEN® is a special concept in cleansing your hair that has Hollywood buzzing. It was developed as an alternative to the way people are used to cleansing their hair; eliminating the use of some ordinary shampoos that can contain harsh sulfates. WEN® Cleansing Conditioners replace shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler and leave-in conditioner, giving you five products in one bottle. —– WEN Website

WEN Treatment Oil Spring Orange Blossom

Chaz Dean is a Los Angeles stylist with a long list of celebrity clients from his Hollywood salon, the Chaz Dean Studio. The WEN® line of hair care products contains no harsh sulfates. It does contain natural botanicals, herbs, and extracts that serve to hydrate and cleanse hair. It is gentle enough to use daily, though it can also extend the amount of time between necessary shampoos for some users.

I haven’t tried the WEN® cleanser yet, though I really want to after seeing it advertised all over the place and viewing celebrity endorsements of the product line. I decided to start out by trying this WEN® Treatment Oil first before deciding to purchase other products. I am interested in the treatment oil because it has uses beyond the hair and scalp as it can also be used on skin all over your body. My hair has been a bit dry which can cause scalp itchiness, so I was really interested to see how the product could help that issue. But, you can also add 2-4 dropperfuls of the oil to bath water to help moisturize skin all over the body, too.

The main ingredient in WEN® Spring Orange Blossom Treatment Oil is Jojoba Seed Oil, Sesame Seed Oil, Abyssinian Seed Oil, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, and Organic Argan Oil as well as orange blossom fragrance and extracts of orange flower, ruby red grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit as well as a few other oils. Some consumer reviews I have read make mention of the fact that it smells fruity, though not specifically orange-y. This is true, you can smell the other fruits besides the orange that the product name implies, but I can definitely smell the orange oils and extracts. I think it has a wonderful scent overall.

I really enjoy bath oils and am often trying different brands of that kind of product to see if I like them. I like this product as an additive to my bath, along with the epsom salts that I often use. I’ve used it in my hair, working the oil into my scalp, several times as well with good results. I was worried that being an oil, it might leave behind a dulling residue but have not found that to be the case so I am pleased with it thus far.

What hair/scalp/skin issues do you have? Have you tried WEN® products before or are you excited to in the future?
