During Season 8 of One Tree Hill, they had different artists sing their own version of the theme song ‘I Don’t Want To Be’ by Gavin DeGraw. My favorite version was by Kate Voegele. I think it was fitting of her to sing her own version, considering she is on the show from time to time. Kate Voegele has a beautiful voice and a female singing the theme song fits with the show. One Tree Hill is geared towards women of all ages.
If I could pick another artist, I would love to hear a version by Adele, Katy Perry or Jessica Simpson. Adele has such a unique and strong voice. Katy Perry has several songs that I love to listen to over and over again. I would love to hear Jessica Simpson’s voice again, I think she should record again.
